Hello. I am in dire need of help in this area. In December 2006, I was in a motorcycle accident where a minivan t-boned me at an intersection by running a stop sign in Georgia. I broke my left forearm, pelvis, and broke my ACL and posterior lateral corner (PLC) on my right knee. I was hospitalized for six months and did severe inpatient physical therapy. I have problems with regaining full range of motion and have to learn to run again. I am currently in the military (Army) stationed in Korea, but returning to Augusta, GA in June.

I told that whole long story to tell you that I need help to regain fitness again. I used to love running and now I can't even run a half a mile. I feel so stupid when I try to run, that I give up immediately. I was just wondering how you did it and if you can help me with this long journey. I am also not motivated when I go into the gym. Please help if you can.

Here are my dimensions:

Candace Francis

5'4" 141

24% body fat

24.2 BMI

measurements: 35-29-39...would love for my waist to be smaller!!

goal: to lose some body fat and to become muscular(but still feminine)and strong.

I use the elliptical for cardio and light weight training.

Thank you for listening.
